    Mediaweek.com - Led by the season-finale of the still powerful American Idol, Fox dominated the holiday week of May 19, with a first-place finish in households, total viewers and the three key demos -- adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34. Comparably, this was Fox's 20th consecutive weekly win among adults 18-49. Although the common word used to describe American Idol this season was “declining,” year seven closed on Wednesday, May 21 with a whopping 31.66 million viewers.
