| MySpace Adopts Google's Gears To Search Messages

| NewsFactor - Google Gears --the search giant's open-source system for allowing offline access to Web applications -- celebrated its one-year anniversary Wednesday with an announcement by MySpace. | VIA Releases OpenBook Laptop with Open-Source Design

| NewsFactor - Taiwan-based VIA Technologies has released a new hardware design for a low-cost laptop computer, making it available under an open-source license.
