    Red Bulls to host FC Barcelona in Aug. 6 exhibition (AP)
    The New York Red Bulls and FC Barcelona announced on Friday that they will play an exhibition game at Giants Stadium on Aug. 6. The teams played during the Spanish team's 2006 tour of the United States, with Barcelona winning 4-1 before a near-record breaking Giants Stadium crowd of 79,002. This is Barcelona's third trip to the United States in the last five years, having also toured in 2003. -- read full article

    Cristman, Dube goals earn 2-2 tie for Revolution (AP)
    Second-half goals by Adam Cristman and Kheli Dube pulled the New England Revolution into a 2-2 tie with D.C. United on Thursday night. The goals by Cristman and Dube came within a 13-minute span and extended New England's unbeaten streak to four matches (3-0-1). Cristman tucked a right-footed shot into the lower left corner of the net in the 59th minute to narrow the score to 2-1. -- read full article

    Microsoft to sponsor Seattle's new MLS team (AP)
    Microsoft will sponsor the new MLS team in Seattle. The Seattle Sounders FC will be sponsored by Microsoft and Xbox Live 360, the team announced Wednesday. Microsoft will pay a reported $20 million over five years. Microsoft executive Robbie Bach said the growth and global scope of soccer enticed the company to get involved with sponsoring a sports franchise. -- read full article

    The Columbus Crew is working with its main supporters groups to identify a fan heard shouting a racial epithet at New England Revolution players captured on video and posted on YouTube.     Dwayne De Rosario scored in the 93rd minute and added an assist to help the Houston Dynamo tie FC Dallas 2-2 on Wednesday night. Houston forward Brian Ching took a shot from inside the penalty area that FC Dallas goalkeeper Dario Sala stopped, but the ball bounced straight to De Rosario.
