    Ralston helps the Revolution beat Toronto FC 2-1 (AP)
    Steve Ralston scored once in each half to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC on Saturday night. Ralston banged in a rebound off Adam Cristman's header in the 12th minute. He followed up Kheli Dube's drive off the Toronto crossbar in the 59th minute.     Ekpo's first MLS goal gives Crew win over Rapids (AP)
    Emmanuel Ekpo's first MLS goal gave the Columbus Crew a 2-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night. Ekpo's low, 24-yard shot deflected off the fingertips of Rapids goalkeeper Bouna Coundoul and into the back of the net in the 70th minute. "I thought it ought to be a goal of the week candidate," Crew coach Sigi Schmid said. -- read full article

    Fire, Earthquakes play to scoreless tie (AP)
    San Jose goalkeeper Joe Cannon saved three late attempts, and the Earthquakes and Chicago Fire played to a scoreless draw on Saturday. San Jose nearly broke through in the 51st minute when Ramiro Corrales blasted a free kick off the crossbar, sending it bouncing back into play. Justin Mapp, Chris Rolfe and Bakary Soumare then had late attempts for the Fire that were stopped by Cannon. -- read full article

    Own goal by RSL snaps Wizards' winless streak (AP)
    Real Salt Lake defender Tony Beltran accidentally headed a free kick into his own net in the 89th minute, giving Kansas City a 1-0 victory on Saturday night and ending the Wizards' winless streak at seven matches. After Kenny Cutler, an 80th-minute substitute, fouled Kansas City's Ryan Pore just outside the penalty area, Davy Arnaud sent his free kick into the box. -- read full article

    Dave van den Bergh and Ante Razov exchanged first-half goals, and the New York Red Bulls tied Chivas USA 1-1 on Saturday night. Chivas moved within one point of second place.
