| The New York Red Bulls signed midfielders Jorge Rojas and Juan Pietravallo on Thursday after they received their visas. Both will be available for Saturday's game against David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy at Giants Stadium. | Guillermo Barros Schelotto scored a goal and assisted on two others for the Columbus Crew in a 3-3 draw with the Kansas City Wizards on Thursday night. Josh Wolff scored in the 75th minute to tie it for the Wizards (5-5-6). | Former US soccer captain Claudio Reyna retires (AP) |
| Former U.S. national team captain Claudio Reyna retired Wednesday, less than two seasons after returning from Europe to join Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls. Reyna, who will turn 35 on Sunday, had been bothered by hamstring and back injuries this season that had limited his playing time, and he said that played a role in his decision. -- read full article |
