| The San Jose Earthquakes acquired Arturo Alvarez from FC Dallas on Monday in the low-scoring club's latest attempt to pump up its offense. | Jon Busch made eight saves Sunday night to help the Chicago Fire preserve a scoreless draw with the Kansas City Wizards. | Steven Lenhart scored a goal in the first half and Jason Garey added another in the second to lead Columbus to a 2-0 win over the Rapids for the Crew's first first win at Colorado in eight years.
