| Youngstown State's Rosselli dies at 93 |
| Dom Rosselli, the winningest basketball and baseball coach at Youngstown State, has died. He was 93.
The university says Rosselli died Tuesday morning.
Rosselli totaled 1,000 career wins in the two sports over 38 years. He also served as an assistant football coach for 21 years.
Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel said Rosselli will be missed because he affected so many lives. Tressel coached Youngstown State for 15 years before moving to the Buckeyes. -- read full article |

| Florida basketball coach Billy Donovan has finally signed a contract extension he agreed to more than a year ago.
Donovan had agreed to the contract extension last June after deciding to return to Florida just days after signing a deal with the Orlando Magic.
The contract he signed Friday will pay him $3.5 million a season through 2012-13.

| Florida coach Billy Donovan signed his six-year contract extension Friday, 16 months after he returned to Gainesville following a brief stint with the NBA's Orlando Magic.
The deal is worth more than $19.5 million before incentives.

| Mazzulla, Thoroughman plead guilty to charges |
| West Virginia basketball players Joe Mazzulla and Cam Thoroughman have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a July scuffle with police at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
The two were charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Monday in Pittsburgh Municipal Court. Other charges were dropped. Each player was ordered to pay $222 in fines and court costs.
Both players can request to have their records expunged after paying their fines. -- read full article |
