| South Carolina guard Raley-Ross out up to a month |
| South Carolina guard Brandis Raley-Ross will miss three to four weeks with a sprained left knee.
Gamecocks coach Darrin Horn announced Raley-Ross' status on Saturday, a day after the guard took a hard fall before halftime of South Carolina's 89-76 victory over Jacksonville State.

| With stories about his online gambling debt circulating, Nick Calathes easily could have been distracted.
He seemed unworried.
Calathes had 16 points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals, Dan Werner added 19 points and No. 19 Florida opened the season with an 80-58 victory over Toledo on Friday night.
