| NC State PG Degand could miss two weeks |
| North Carolina State point guard Farnold Degand has tendinitis in his left knee and may be sidelined two weeks.
Degand developed tendinitis in the knee that was surgically repaired last season, coach Sidney Lowe said Friday.
Degand missed the final 2 1/2 months after tearing a ligament last December. Lowe said Degand likely had tendinitis before, but his recovery from surgery may have worsened it.
Degand started and played 13 minutes in last week's opener at New Orleans. -- read full article |

| Trevor Cook scored a career-high 20 points as Texas Tech defeated East Central 167-115 Thursday night in the Legends Classic.
Cook was one of 10 players in double figures for Texas Tech, which easily eclipsed the record for most points scored by the Red Raiders. Alan Voskuil and John Roberson each had 17 points and Mike Singletary and Wally Dunn each had 16.
