| L.D. Williams had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jeff Teague added 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists to help No. 19 Wake Forest beat Baylor 87-74 on Sunday night in the 76 Classic championship game.
James Johnson had 14 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks, and Al-Farouq Aminu had 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Demon Deacons (6-0).
Henry Dugat scored 19 points for the Bears (6-1), and Curtis Jerrells added 16. Baylor shot a season-low 32.4 percent. -- read full article |

| Michigan St.-Wichita St. delayed by rain |
| The Michigan State-Wichita State fifth-place game at the Old Spice Classic has been delayed by a heavy rainstorm that caused the roof at the Milk House to leak.
Water dripped from the ceiling and formed puddles underneath the Michigan State basket with just under 13 minutes left in the first half and the Spartans up 9-7.
Both teams were sent to their locker rooms while workers sopped up the water.

| Harangody out indefinitely for Notre Dame |
| Notre Dame forward Luke Harangody is out indefinitely with pneumonia.
Harangody, the Big East player of the year last season, became ill after scoring 29 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in No. 8 Notre Dame's 81-80 victory over No. 6 Texas on Tuesday in the semifinals of the Maui Invitational.
Despite feeling ill, he had 13 points and seven rebounds in a 102-87 loss to top-ranked North Carolina in the championship game on Wednesday. -- read full article |
