    Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez will enter his name in the NBA draft, but because he has not hired an agent could return for his senior year with the Terrapins. The 6-foot-6 Vasquez averaged 17.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game for the Terps this season and served as the team's emotional leader.     Isiah Thomas will make $1.29 million in base salary alone from Florida International if he stays at the school for five seasons.     Tennessee's Smith declares for NBA draft
    Tennessee forward Tyler Smith has declared for the 2009 NBA draft but will not hire an agent. Smith can work out and be evaluated by NBA teams in the weeks before the June 25 draft, but could withdraw his name before June 15 and return to school. "Playing in the NBA has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember, and I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to come to Tennessee and grow as a basketball player and as a man," Smith said in a statement Wednesday. -- read full article

    Curry to announce NBA decision Thursday
    Davidson guard Stephen Curry will announce on Thursday if he'll return for his senior season or enter the NBA draft. The school has called a late-morning news conference at its athletic complex. Curry and his father, former NBA player Dell Curry, will attend along with Davidson coach Bob McKillop. Dell Curry and McKillop did not immediately return phone messages on Wednesday seeking comment.
