    Gerald Henderson is entering the NBA draft but is keeping open the option to return to Duke for his senior season. The school said in an announcement Saturday that Henderson has not hired an agent.     An equipment manager's estranged wife has been charged with trying to extort Louisville men's basketball coach Rick Pitino. A criminal complaint filed in federal court Friday also accuses Karen Sypher (SY'-fer) of lying to the FBI. She appeared in court but did not enter a plea, and was released on her own recognizance. The complaint says Sypher's husband brought Pitino a written list of demands including a house, cars and money. -- read full article

    Isiah Thomas will make $1.29 million in base salary alone from Florida International if he stays at the school for five seasons.
