    Perrilloux prepares for new school debut (AP)
    This is nothing new to Ryan Perrilloux. Jacksonville State's high-profile quarterback has played in big games and big stadiums, and he's even done it in the same big city. The LSU transfer leads the Football Championship Subdivision team into Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Thursday night.     Report: Miami QB Marve suspended (AP)
    Miami quarterback Robert Marve has been suspended for the season opener for an incident stemming back to last year, the Miami Herald reported on its Web site Saturday. Marve was expected to be named the starter against Charleston Southern on August 28. Marve's father, Eugene Marve, confirmed the suspension to the Herald and said that his son was very upset about it. -- read full article

    Quarterback Ben Mauk is taking his case for another year of eligibility at Cincinnati back to the NCAA.     Purdue running back Jaycen Taylor will miss the 2008 season because of a torn knee ligament.
