| Buckeyes, Spartans meet for Big Ten lead (AP) |
| At least a piece of first place in the Big Ten is at stake when Ohio State and Michigan State square off Saturday. For the 12th-ranked Buckeyes, it's the usual routine: big game, high stakes. For the rebuilding and 20th-ranked Spartans, games such as this have been anything but routine. | Oklahoma looks to bounce back vs. Kansas (AP) |
| For all the attention and all the buildup that goes into the annual Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas, it's only natural that the next week would be a bit of a letdown. There's no neutral field split evenly with fans dressed in their choice of crimson or burnt orange, no state fair, no intense hatred -- between the fan bases, at least -- and, with this year's added stakes, no No. -- read full article |

| New No. 1 Texas hosts No. 11 Missouri (AP) |

At some point during warmups before No. 1 Texas plays No. 11 Missouri on Saturday night, Longhorns freshman safety Blake Gideon will seek out the coach who has won a national championship and say: "I hope you're not nervous." Gideon does it every week and it's a pretty funny line coming from a guy who has played six games. -- read full article |

| Once a star, Buckeyes' Boeckman now sits (AP) |

| Georgia hopes for repeat of 2007 surge (AP) |
| About this time a year ago, Georgia became a different team. Can they make another run at No. 1, the spot they held at the beginning of the season? -- read full article |

The Big Ten's leader in sacks (nine) and tackles for loss (12.5) has mellowed out a bit off the field, reserving that energy for chasing down opposing quarterbacks. -- read full article |
