Reuters - "Get Smart" the movie has precious little to do with "Get Smart" the iconic TV series from the 1960s -- but then again, the movie has precious little to do with screen comedy, either.

Reuters - After the "Austin Powers" trilogy, there was a sense that comedian Mike Myers had elevated his game. He evolved the series from slapdash skits into real movies that had connective tissue and continuing characters. "Love Guru" is a regressive step in the extreme.

AP - In "The Love Guru," Mike Myers must come to love himself before he can love others. From the credits of this scattershot comedy sketch stretched and strained to movie length, Myers clearly loved himself to the point of narcissism going in.

AP - Two compelling figures have dominated the rich spring season at New York City Ballet: a choreographer and a dancer.

AP - The fanboys will probably be happy with the latest incarnation of "The Incredible Hulk." At least we can say that much for it — and that's something we most assuredly could not say about Ang Lee and James Schamus' somber, introspective and largely derided take in 2003 on the beloved Marvel Comics hero.

AP - For a movie called "The Happening," not much happens.
