| Investor's Business Daily - Glass panes coated with special dyes may be the key to cheaper solar power, say MIT researchers who envision turning any glass building into a power plant. Finally, solar cells placed at the pane edges collect the light and convert it into electricity. This approach to solar power is relatively cheap because the starting materials are affordable, plus just a little semiconductor material is needed to cover the panes' thin edges. -- read full article |
