E! Online - The Emmy awards and fall season premieres are just around the corner, so it's time to recognize some of America's great television thespians. Or better yet, the actors pretending to be Americans. You thought we hadn't noticed the influx of Brits infiltrating our airwaves?

E! Online - Yesterday, the Internet was buzzing that Paula Abdul didn't approve of American Idol's decision to hire a fourth judge, songwriter Kara DioGuardi.

AP - Scooching in between Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson sounds intimidating, if not a little scary.

Reuters - Thousands of royalist protesters stormed the compound of Thai Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej, a TV station and several ministries on Tuesday in a coordinated bid to unseat his elected seven-month-old coalition government.

AP - A critic making TV picks this fall is obliged to play prophet more than usual. That's because previews for many of the new shows still aren't ready to see. (Blame last winter's writers strike for throwing things off schedule; everybody else does.)

AP - With fall in sight, ABC is inviting viewers to stay home and watch ABC as an energy-saving measure.

E! Online - Yes, the Olympics suffered the post-Michael Phelps blues. And, yes, suffered is too harsh a word.

AP - Make that "Two and a Half Men," three daughters and a baby on the way for Charlie Sheen.

E! Online - The rumors were partly true: Lance Bass will be among the celeb hoofers on the forthcoming seventh season of Dancing With the Stars.

E! Online - It's time to get a bigger table.

E! Online - As our Gossip Girl countdown continues (seven days remaining!), we were more than giddy when Page Six Magazine featured Ed "Chuck Bass" Westwick this weekend. We have to run their names together because it's impossible to separate the real person from the character—they're both so pompous and charming at the same time.

E! Online - Gossip Girl's reputation is proceeding 90210.
