666,000 units of its Wii video game console in the United
States in June, becoming the country's best-selling video game
console, the company said on Thursday, citing figures from

One out of every 4 gamers is over age 50, says a new study by the Entertainment Software Association. The study also found that women now make up 40% of the game-playing population. In addition, the study says women age 18 and over represent 33% of gamers, topping boys age 17 or younger who now represent just 18% of gamers.
