| Coach Bill Laimbeer has been re-signed to a two-year contract by the WNBA champion Detroit Shock. The team is not releasing terms of the deal announced Thursday. | The Washington Mystics began their overhaul after a 10-24 season by hiring Angela Taylor as general manager on Thursday. Among Taylor's first tasks: finding a new coach, who should be on board by the middle of November, Mystics chief operating officer Greg Bibb said. | The Detroit Shock won the WNBA title Sunday at the end of the most chaotic season in franchise history.
