    Bermuda issues tropical storm warning (AP)

According to the National Weather Service at 10 p.m. EDT Bertha had sustained winds of near 90 miles per hour and was moving slowly toward the north-northeast at near 5 mph. Bertha is a Category one hurricane and is not expected to strengthen over the next couple of days. Large swells and high surf are affecting Bermuda and these conditions are expected to persist for the next couple of days.
