| Turkish club Fenerbahce is going after Spain coach Luis Aragones, offering him a two-year contract Wednesday. Aragones has led Spain to the European Championship semifinals, where it plays Russia on Thursday night in Vienna, Austria. | Panama fires soccer coach (AP) |
| Panama coach Alexandre Guimaraes was fired after his team was eliminated from World Cup contention by El Salvador. Panama's soccer federation sent a letter to Guimaraes informing him of his dismissal. The letter released Tuesday cited "our elimination in the route to South Africa 2010."
